Our Optometrist

Dr. Dayyani is the linchpin of the practice. He's spent over 20 years as a practicing optometrist, and he prides himself on delivering care and treatment based on integrity, honesty, and best practices. He graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994, where he received a Doctor of Optometry. While pre-arranged appointments are preferred, Dr. Dayyani does accept walk-ins on occasion, and he's dedicated to treating every customer as if they were a member of his own family.

Our Practice

The Dan Rod Eyes experience starts with an eye exam. Comprehensive eye exams are vital to eye health. They allow Dr. Dayyani to offer basic services, and also help him detect more serious vision issues. These include eye allergy problems, cornea issues such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, etc.

Many eye exams result in prescriptions for eyeglasses, which can often be fulfilled in under an hour. Orders for contact lenses can sometimes be met quickly as well, too. Several insurance plans are accepted by Dan Rod Eyes. These include VSP and Eyemed for routine exams and fittings, and other health plans that may be honored include Cigna, Aetna, Medicare, Bluecross and Blueshield.

If more serious vision issues are detected, we offer co-management for LASIK and cataract surgery. At Dan Rod Eyes, we also perform emergency exams for issues like pink or red eye, trauma flashes and floaters, and the removal of ocular foreign bodies.
