Dr. Dayyani was raised in New York and attended Toura college as an undergrad. He moved to Pennsylvania to attend optometry school at Penn College of Optometry. He has long held a passion for humanitarian work. He often shares his experience as a young adult with limited resources in college when he needed some medical work done and a doctor graciously performed all services for him at no charge with the promise that one day when you become a doctor, he would pay it forward. 29 years later, he continues to make every effort to pay it forward by offering free eye exam and glasses to various organizations who have members in need. And in 2001, he created a program with Santa Monica community college to provide affordable eye exams and glasses to students in need, a program that continues to this day. Dr. Dayyani is also a donor and a member of California Vision Foundation which is an organization dedicated to preventing vision loss and enhancing eye health to medically underserved Californians.
As his patients know, family is the center of Dr. Dayyani’s life. When he is not at work treating his patients, he is with his wife and three kids. His hobbies are gardening and constructions. His home is filled with different trees, plants and flowers while he enjoys different architectural designs and helps friends with development projects. His pets include a yorkie, chickens (Yes. They lay eggs), Doves and a pond filled with Koi fishes. Between friends and family, he is known as the a man with healing hands.
